Mike Borrall has spent the last two seasons as the head soccer coach for East High School. Mike was the West Middle football coach from 2009-2012. In the summer of 1997 and 1998, Mike coached camps for Pelfrey Kicking Services (PKS). Mike volunteered time working with Punters at Morningside College in 2004. He also worked with the Sioux City East kickers and punters during the summer last season.

 

Mike played high school football at Sioux City East High School where he was awarded all-conference honors for the Sioux Interstate Conference. Mike was also selected to the All-state team in 1996. He Played collegiately at the University of Nebraska Omaha, and Morningside College. At the University of Nebraska at Omaha, Mike started as a true freshman. His team won the North Central Conference and ended the 1996 season 11th in the country. At Morningside College he was named the Special Teams player of the year in 1999 and 2000. Mike was also selected to the All-conference teams in 1999 and 2000. He currently holds the longest punt in school history at Morningside College.

 

Mike is going to be teaching, in the science department at East High School for the 2018-2019 school year. Mike is married to his wife Candace, and has two children Jacob and Addison. He enjoys attending his kid’s events throughout the year, grilling in the summers, and spending time with friends and family.
