Wyatt Mounts will begin his first year with East High as the Varsity Running Backs coach.
Wyatt’s playing career consists of both high school and college experiences. At East High School, he was a three-year starter for the football program. He played various positions including wide receiver, running back, linebacker and punter. He was a two year starter for the basketball program as a point guard. After high school Wyatt joined the Iowa Air National Guard and got recruited for both football and basketball at Morningside but decided to play basketball.
Currently, Wyatt is teaching Geometry and GeoPhyics at East High School. His wife Lexi works at Scheels as the Events Coordinator. In his free time he enjoys playing golf, camping, and fishing.
