PATRICK ZAHOUREK
Pat Zahourek joins the East High football coaching staff as the program's Freshmen Football Coach. Coach Zahourek is entering his 19th year of coaching.
Most recently, Zahourek was the 7th grade coach at East Middle School. Prior to coming to Sioux City, Zahourek coached at Minnesota State Mankato where he served as a Graduate Assistant 2006-2008. His duties for the Mavericks were coaching the Running Backs and he was the Director of Operations for the program. Coach Zahourek started his collegiate coaching at Briar Cliff University in 2005, coaching the Wide Recievers.
Pat Zahourek started his football coaching career at East High School back in 2002 working under Walt Fiegel.
Collegiately, Zahourek played football and baseball at the University of South Dakota 1997-1998 and baseball at Wayne State College 1999-2002 In 2002, Zahourek earned his bachelor’s degree in Physical Education/Health from Wayne State and later his master’s degree at Minnesota State Mankato.
Zahourek is married to Maren, and has one son, Brett.
